It is in the middle of November. Today is Saturday and I wanted to see maple view. The TV report says that the maple-changing color front continues to coming down from North to South. However it has not reached to the center of Tokyo, where I stay. So I searched some places where I can see the red maple leaves and yellow gingko trees if possible. I found the National Showa Park of Tachikawa, where I can see both of maple and Gingko. While my children were still quite small, my family and I had been there once. However it was so shabby park at that time. There were only a big field with some flowers. So I was wondering whether the park had changed or not. When I arrived at this park, I found that the design was very nice. There was a canal area, where was a fountain and a slit of small rivers. There were gingko trees roads on the both side. The leaves had already changed into yellow. It was very beautiful to see. When I was walking on the road, I smelled the gingko nuts.
When I arrived the Japanese garden, I love it very much, because it was so wide scaled. Of course in the center of Tokyo, there are some Japanese Gardens, which were built more than a few hundreds years ago. However these gardens are quite small to compare with this. As this park was built quite recently, the size of this Japanese garden is well designed and large. I was fascinated by it. This is the pond of the Japanese garden. I am so impressed by the mixture of colors, such as navy blue of the sky of autumn, the autumn tint, the pond. They are indescribably attractive. As the photo, I found the small island of turtle that is in the pond of the Japanese garden. I think that the shape of the stones of the head and legs are really nice to see.
