Seven years have already passed since I went to Moscow in the spring of 1997. It was the seventh year since Boris Nikolayevich Yeltsin started his presidency and the fourth year since he suppressed the rebellion of the Vice-President and conservatives. Because of this achievement, he got an extreme popularity. However since then, Yeltsin was well-known as a drinker. His reputation had been already down. People talk about him, "Could he rule this country, although such a super drinker?" However in these days, Yeltsin's successor, the President Putin has been fighting against noisy press, opposition parties and finally trying to pull down a new oil company from the market. I am afraid that he abuses his power. Thinking this situation, I think that Yeltsin might be the most suitable president of Russia, even if he was always drunken or carrying alcohol smell.
